Cams not displaying

Frequently I click on a a green cam icon to display someone’s cam, or click on the orange icon to request it, but nothing happens. This problem seems to happen after I have been logged in for some time rather than at the start of my session, suggesting that the software is hitting some kind of limit. It does not seem to depend on how many cams I already have open.

Refreshing the page usually fixes this, but of course this is not a viable solution because it closes my own cam; people who were viewing it no longer see it and I have to reopen it and tell all the relevant people that it’s open again. This problem has been there since the new site was launched.

    An update on this:

    I discovered that when the green or orange cam icon appears next to a name in the list of Viewers if that person is viewing me, frequently clicking on the icon has no effect… but if I go to the lobby and click the icon there, it frequently works. It’s a pain to have to do that, but at least I can usually get to view their cam.
