endless scrolling on friends listing

is there a way to send an offline message to a friends listing that does not have endless scrolling of an older chat with him? Getting to a clean area to type a new chat is tedious.

Can you fix this? I have asked this question before and gotten no replay. Thanks for letting me know if this is going to be changed in the future and when….
