i think having an infinite archive of chat is strange. a history of perhaps 30 min to an hour should be adequate. Just because you can do it doesn’t mean you should.
I’d like to think these messages have some limited amount of time-to-live before they’re discarded rather than stored perpetually. How far does this history actually go back? Do messages get deleted at some point?
