Losing friends or not seeing friends on my list (potential bug)

I’ve noticed when the new version was released, all my friends list from before just vanished. I started from new and met a couple of friends again, plus made some new friends.

Over the past few days, my list has been dropping again and I’m now only seeing a single entry in my directory when I click “Friends”.

What’s going on there? Is this a bug?

    There was about a one month period before the old version shut down where there was a notice in the chat reminding people to save their friends list. there was no option to migrate friends lists automatically. you would have had to add them yourself

    as for the friends list missing new entries, that does sound like a bug
