Online status in groups

I think the online status in groups is confusing. If I am in a group and want to see all the group members who are online, it only shows me those that are actively online AND have the group open.

What I think would be better is if we keep the counter of how many people have the group open, but also if I am looking through the group member list, there is a green online icon next to those members who are active on the site, but may not have the group open.

I sometimes look at group members to see who I can engage with, but it doesn’t show me if they are online or not on the platform, only if they actively have the spesfiic group open.

To see everyone who is online, use the “Online” button in the menu.

No Jason, this isn’t what I’m asking for.

I understand there is an online tab on the main menu to see everyone online on the entire site.

Here is a scenario; I’m in a custom made group that has say 50 members. The online tab of that group only shows me which members have that group open on their browser. A member may be online on the site, but if they’re active in the lobby, they won’t show as ‘online’ in the specific group I’m currently in.

What I am suggesting is that if a member is online on the site, in a specific GROUP member listing, there is a green icon to say they’re active on the site.
