That “viewing me” icon appears beside the names in the Viewers list, not surprisingly, because they are viewing me by definition! It’s not giving me any new information being there. :D
I imagine what the person submitting had in mind was that the “viewing me “ indicator should appear alongside the name anywhere the name appears, such as in the list of members in the lobby, as well as a correct count of how many viewers, to avoid having to constantly switch back and forth between lists just to find this basic information. I cannot even tell whether anyone at all is viewing me until I leave whatever I am dong and return to the Lobby and click Viewers. (Unless of course the person tells me they are viewing.)
At the risk of seeming negative, it seems that users have a lot of trouble getting whoever is working on the software so understand just what the problem is, despite some heroic efforts by members to describe the problem in full detail. If any of those programmers also happened to be ordinary members os Menchats, using the site the way the members do, I’m sure they would see in a momen what things are good and what needs to be changed.
