The idiocrity is fascinating

Well here’s the deal. Cause, I’m not completely unreasonable, I get it. You’re running a chat site, so you have certain things you legally have to abide by. So, I get that part of it, you can’t have people making death threats online, or have sex with minors. So, I’m not saying that anything and everything should be allowed to be said in the chatroom, cause that’s just being unrealistic.

However, at the same time, language is nuanced. It just is! If you have 2 people online chatting with eachother, and you don’t see the facial expressions, the tone of voice, the mannerisms, etc…, then how in the hell are you going to police something that someone says online? If you have 2 friends in a chatroom talking online, and their normal way of saying hi is saying “Wassup whore?!” or “Hey dick!”, a moderator can take what is being said the wrong way and enforce a rule that in the grand scheme of things was just a simple exchange between people. Now, in all fairness, that wasn’t the BEST example, cause not even I would open up a conversation with something like that, but regardless that IS an example.

But, let’s give a better example, because this is one reason I was banned. So, I was talking to some dude on here, and somehow we got into the topic of seamen, and all I did was explain that there are certain benefits when it comes to seamen retention. And, if I remember correctly, I believe the guy I was talking to wanted to know what that was all about. So, after I get done talking to the guy, within hours I was banned. Now granted, during that time, so many things could’ve happened. It’s possible that he was talking with someone else, mentioned my username and what I talked about, and the other party somehow got weirdly offended by it and reported it to a mod and the mod just banned me. There could’ve been a million reasons for the ban, and really truth be told, none of it was irrelevant. I also loved how the reason for the ban was because of “my beliefs.” Very vague there moderators…very vague. Because, I am a believer in seamen retention, even though I’m not very good at it. And, I was trying to think on what it possibly was that I spoke about that could’ve gotten me banned, and literally that was the only thing I could think about, because unfortunately, there’s a lot of men that go on this chat site who need therapy, because they get butt hurt over the typed word. Again, I know certain things can’t be said or talked about, and I respect that, but some of these men get triggered over some of the silliest of things. I can like, even love a person but disagree with their beliefs. And just like they can disagree with something I believe in, I can disagree with something they believe in. Doesn’t make either of us right or wrong, it just means our worldview’s are different. Well WELCOME TO EARTH! LOL!

What you need to do, is if you’re going to have moderators on a chat site, you need moderators who are going to be fair and unbiased. When you open a chat site to just anyone, you’re gonna get all sorts of different people, from all sorts of different backgrounds, who are going to come on there and speak their mind. Pardon my French, but it’s a fucking chat site, so let people chat on there!

If a person gets offended over a word, or even a phrase, they need therapy. They really just do. When you get triggered over anything (with the exception of a few cases), it’s because there’s a problem going on within you that needs to be addressed and resolved, because if it’s not, it’s going to continue to show up in your reality till you address the problem. That’s just how this reality works.

But, it’s quite obvious, people will continue to let their ego’s run the show on Earth, and there’s nothing no one can do about it. There are so many problems, not just in the gay/bi community, but on the Earth as a whole that could be resolved if people would just try to be a better person each and everyday. But evidentially this is too much to ask for anyone, cause no one knows how to get along with anyone anymore.
