Too many message notification

Feature Request/Bugs

I’m getting message notifications everytime someone posts in a group.
In practice this means new messages every few seconds.
So they become very ignorable.
I would find it more useful if I only get notified if the message mentioned me in the group.
Or it was a private message to me.

    Can we turn off the notifications so they dont accumulate while we are signed out?

    Notifications are only enabled for private messages now.
