Multiple Chats

In the other system, if we opened a chat in another room, it appeared as a tab at the top of the screen and we could easily go back and forth from room to room. With V.4, chatting in multiple rooms is a pain in neck; I wish I could see more easily when there is a message posted in one room while I’m in another. Sometimes, the other room I’m chatting in, beside the lobby, is way down the room list and I have to scroll up and down to see if there are any new messages.

There should be a choice to view a user’s cam directly from their profile, just like you can message.

How many viewing me?

I want to see how many people are viewing my cam at any time without having to switch to the “Viewers” list.

Hi everyone! I think two features that weren't imported from the previous version would be very useful:

1) The ability to invite a user to view my cam 2) Be able to see the profile of anyone requesting to see my cam before approving the request I hope you find these features useful too and that will be restored.

Message Undock

The way the you have to flip between messages and the room is terrible. It’s not even clear how to get back to the room. Messages to an individual should be free floating and not “docked” with any of the chat pane.

Allowing decline private chat messages

I want to be able to accept/reject before someone can message me.

Yes/No Prompts

I think there are too many yes/no prompts, particularly for minor options. Any choice that can easily be reversed does not require this extra level of “are you really sure”. For example, if I want to choose “Ignore” it should just be that one click and done.

Sorting by two filters at once (Age + Camera for example)

Being able to sort by the filters we have now and then filtering the ones with cam on or pushing that to the top of the list like the old site would be amazing. You used to be able to sort by age and then have the ones with cam open pushed up to the top of the list and grouped. Now you can only sort by one or the other and have to manually scroll to look for people with cam on.

This alert caused everyone in the old chat to check newly opened cams. Now I have to ‘manually’ tell everybody to watch me

notifications too disruptive - especially cam requests

When asking to view a private cam, the notification that you have sent the request blocks out the entire screen and requires you to click on the “ok” with your mouse. Totally overkill and makes navigation more difficult than needed. The same type of notification happens for a rejection, which i have less of a problem with. A private notification in the main chat would be sufficient for the initial request. Maybe if you ask twice, this larger rejection could happen, but for the first request, it feels unnecessarily severe and slows down navigation too much. I think across the board, those pop-up notifications are too “arresting.” Instead of these large notifications which act like walls, a smaller pop up notification that could be dispatched with the “return” key (or which automatically disappears after 2 seconds) would be preferable. if the smaller one is not possible, or the "main chat notification style” seems insufficient, I’d suggest making these large notifications closable by “touching any key”

Need to have Cam icon in Messages

Cam icons for those who have their cams on, should also appear in Messages. That way, if you get a Message, you don’t have to leave the Message list to view their cam. There is too much navigating to other lists required when going from Rooms to Messages, etc.

Country Flags

Currently, users can see the location of users with flag icons and country codes. This needs to stay.

When messaging

Make a way to message people and go back to room you were in without having to click in to it again. Also make it more seamless with viewers/people online, etc

See who is viewing my cam

To see a list of who is currently watching me (indicated by a red eye icon) and the ability to block specific users from watching.

A number that shows how many are online in each room at the moment.

Whispers, Mentions, Privates.

If a user is present in a Group, but is not actively chatting in the room, how does one Whisper? Or Mention? The only option is to send a PRIVATE.

Last Login

Might be nice to show date/time of last login on user profiles.
